"Do not pray for tasks equal to your abilities, but pray for abilities equal to your tasks. Then the performance of your tasks will be no miracle. YOU will be the MIRACLE."

Advice for Children
Give your parents a break. They've never been your parents before.
Children you can always trust your parents. Parents, you can always trust the Lord.
Children you can always trust your parents. Parents, you can always trust the Lord.
From Stake Conference
Parenting advice:
Back off gently and let your children use their agency. Teach them correct principles and let them govern themselves. They are equipped to handle these decisions because they are prepared to be on the earth during this wicked time.
"Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they become discouraged." from Teaching of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 89.
Create an atmosphere of love and acceptance, so your children know that they can come to you and that you will love them no matter what.
Be gentle and kind when disciplining children. Try "Son, you let me down".

Inspired by Evening
O Sky!
As twilight glides your way
You don liquid-silk gown
Spreading around you in
Cobalt, turquoise, hemmed in gold
Softly bejeweled by starlight
Slim crescent moon at your neck.
